Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Prefire. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. We've written them in plain English so you can actually read them.
What Prefire does
Prefire is an automated Counter-Strike 2 scouting tool. You upload demo files (.dem) and we parse them, extract patterns, run AI analysis, and generate tactical scouting briefs to help you prepare for opponents. The service is provided as-is to help coaches and players study the game.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the demos and content you upload. You confirm you have the right to upload and analyze them. Don't abuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform, no uploading content you don't have the rights to, and no using Prefire to harass others or violate the law.
AI analysis is advisory
Prefire's analysis, patterns, and scouting briefs are generated automatically, including by AI models. They are advisory only and may contain mistakes or omissions. They are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for your own tactical decisions — treat Prefire as one input, not the final word.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prefire is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on its analysis.
Changes to pricing, features, and accounts
We may change pricing, add or remove features, and modify how the service works as the product develops. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. Where a change materially affects a paid plan you're on, we'll aim to give reasonable notice.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete your demos and your account at any time. When you cancel a paid plan, your account reverts to the free tier; we may remove data tied to paid features after a reasonable wind-down period. When you delete your account, we delete the associated data, subject to any retention required for legal, security, or backup purposes. Intellectual property
Prefire owns the product — the software, the analysis engine, the interface, and our brand. You own your data: the demos you upload and the content you create. We only use your data to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Beta disclaimer
Prefire is under active development. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice while we improve the product. Expect rough edges and occasional downtime.
Promotional pricing
We may offer promotional or discounted pricing from time to time. The specific terms of any offer — including the amount, duration, and eligibility — are shown with the offer and apply only to that offer.
Updates to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and our legal obligations evolve. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Prefire after an update means you accept the revised terms.
