Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Prefire collects, who helps us process it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We collect only what we need to run the service.
Data we collect
- Account info — your email address and authentication details.
- Demo files — the CS2 demos you upload, and the parsed data and analysis we derive from them.
- AI chat history — the questions you ask the AI assistant and its responses.
- Usage analytics — basic product usage data (pages visited, features used) to understand and improve the product.
Third-party processors
We rely on a small set of trusted service providers to operate Prefire. Each processes data only to provide their part of the service:
- Supabase — database storage and authentication.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Anthropic — the AI models that power analysis and chat.
- PostHog — product usage analytics.
- Vercel — application hosting.
How we use your data
We use your data only to provide and improve the product: parsing demos, generating analysis, running your account, processing payments, and understanding how the product is used. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual demos at any time. When you delete your account, we delete the associated data, subject to short retention windows for backups and any retention required for legal or security reasons. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your data and your account.
- Request an export of your data.

Cookies and analytics
We use PostHog for product analytics, which may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure how the product is used. This helps us understand which features are working and where to improve. We do not use this data to sell advertising.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as the product and our legal obligations evolve. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date below.
